Metal storm repairs
Most calls to a Beaver Dam commercial roof repair contractor follow wind or heavy rain. Simple fixes stay simple, while bigger drainage or deck changes can draw state review.
Wind and water leave marks you can find on a quick walk around the building.
Edge metal that moves in wind has lost fasteners and can peel the membrane edge with it.
Water spilling over a parapet wall means the scuppers or drains behind it are overwhelmed.
Stains along exterior walls after windy storms point to wall flashing or edge metal.
A ceiling grid that dips after heavy snow needs the roof framing above it checked.
Ponds ringing a drain show a clogged strainer or a drain set higher than the roof around it.
Wind uplift leaves wrinkles and loose areas along the roof perimeter.
Fixing wind and drain damage early keeps it from turning into structural work.
Every repair type is available in Beaver Dam, with wind and drainage details checked on each visit.
Perimeter seams lifted by wind get rewelded or taped, and drains across the field are cleared and checked for height.
Flat Roof RepairWind-loosened trim and ridge caps get new fasteners, and end laps on the windward slope are resealed.

The order of work after a storm, from the first walk to the record.
We walk the perimeter first, then the drains and the field, checking edge metal, coping, scuppers, and any membrane lifted by wind.

Each damaged area is photographed and tied to the storm date, which helps the owner with the insurance carrier.
Deck replacement, new scuppers, or structural repairs after wind or snow load get raised with the state inspector before work starts.
Edge metal is refastened, wind-lifted membrane rewelded or patched, and drains cleared or reset so water leaves the roof.
Marked drains and repaired edges get checked after the next heavy rain to confirm water drains off as it should.

State Review
Only larger ones. The Kentucky state building inspector is the only building inspector on Ohio County's contact sheet, so repairs that need building review go there: replacing large areas of deck, changing roof drainage or adding scuppers, and structural repairs after wind or snow damage. Simple patching and reflashing seldom reach that level.
City Hall confirms any rules inside city limits, so a quick call there sits alongside the state review question on larger jobs. For seam patches and curb reflashing the check is short, and we help gather the photos and scope details they ask for.
Storms
Edge metal and coping for lifting, the membrane along the perimeter for wrinkles and tears, drains and scuppers for debris, rooftop units for shifted curbs, and skylights for cracks. Each item gets photographed with the date so damage can be matched to the storm.
Often, when the lifted area is limited and the insulation under it stays dry. The membrane is reattached or patched, edge metal is refastened, and moisture readings confirm the boards are dry. Wide areas of loose membrane across the roof call for a bigger plan.
Drains And Power
Strainers clog with leaves and debris, drain lines collect silt, and some drains end up higher than the roof around them after insulation settles. Each one leaves water standing long enough to work under laps and seams, and the standing water adds weight to the deck.
Ohio County power comes from Kenergy or Meade County RECC, both Big Rivers member cooperatives. The electric bill shows which one serves a building, and the electrician coordinates with that cooperative when a rooftop unit must be disconnected for curb work.
